Our dream vacation to date🥰

(Spoiler alert - WE GOT ENGAGED!)

We visited Italy after the country opened back up for tourism and we were both fully vaxed. It was a fantastic time to visit since there were hardly any other tourists! We felt very safe the entire time, having to confirm vaccination status and be masked for almost everything we did (trains, tours, dining, etc.). It definitely added an entirely new aspect to how we travel, but it was really nice to know we were safe.

We visited three main regions - Rome, the Amalfi Coast, and Tuscany/Chianti - and they each exceeded all of our expectations threefold. We absolutely fell in love with each part of the country we visited, and cannot wait to go back and experience even more of this amazing country and its culture. Italy is one of the only places we’ve visited where we know for a fact we will be back many, many more times throughout our lives. We aren’t sure we could ever get enough.

– VLOG COMING SOON –

 ROME

We started and ended this trip in Rome, flying in and out of Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport. If there was one place in Italy Landon wanted to experience in depth, it was Rome. And we dove all the way in, but quickly realized you would need months here to really experience it properly. Regardless, we took everything out of it that we could and made some of the best memories of our trip here.

FLORENCE AND CHIANTI, TUSCANY

Right around the middle of our trip we took a day to head up from Rome to Florence and go explore the Chianti wine region of Tuscany.

We ate and drank and drank and ate and cooked and drank and ate. What could be better!? The rolling hills of the wine country were breathtaking and pictures/videos just can’t do it justice. We even got a little extra bit of driving through Florence and agreed that the next time we are in Italy we will be staying there for a good portion of the trip. It was stunning and we can’t wait to spend more time there.

POSITANO

For the last leg of our trip we headed to the Amalfi Coast.

Positano specifically has been a bucket-list destination for Kylie her entire life, so there was no way we could miss it. And again, absolutely lived up to and exceed our expectations. Here we were able to relax more and slow down from the first half of our trip that was so busy and on-the-move. It was perfect, and the perfect place for an engagement😉🥰
